1. Cookies on this website
Cookies are small values stored by your browser and sent back to the relevant website. Our production application uses the first-party cookies below. Essential cookies support a service you request and remain available when optional cookies are rejected.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
pipe_steel_admin | Signed admin session after successful sign-in. HTTP-only, SameSite Strict and Secure on HTTPS. | Up to 8 hours; removed on sign-out. | Essential; authorised admins only. |
pipe_steel_cookie_choice | Remembers accept or reject for the current version of the cookie notice. SameSite Lax and Secure on HTTPS. | Up to 180 days. | Essential preference. |
2. Optional cookies
No optional visitor analytics, advertising pixels or marketing-cookie services are currently installed in the application. Accepting optional cookies records your choice; it does not activate an absent service. Rejecting optional cookies does not restrict access to the public catalogue or quotation links.
Before introducing optional cookies, their purposes and providers must be documented, the consent version updated and the integration configured so it does not run without the required choice.
3. Accept, reject or change your choice
The cookie notice offers equally prominent accept and reject options. No selection is treated as permission for optional tracking. You can reopen the notice with Cookie settings in the footer, accept or reject again, or clear cookies using your browser settings. A rejected optional choice leaves only essential application cookies active.
4. Browser controls and other services
Blocking all cookies can prevent admin sign-in and stop this website from remembering a cookie preference. Your browser may also clear preferences before their expiry. Email applications, external links and infrastructure services have their own settings and policies; clicking a link does not extend this cookie choice to those services.
5. Further information
Read the Privacy Policy for information about enquiries, hosting and your data requests. This inventory describes the application as configured on the update date.
